Graduate of the Fisk-Meharry Clinical Psychology Training Program and holding a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, Mr. Scott has enjoyed 44 years of experience as a civilian and government Consultant, Psychotherapist, and Psychological-Neuropsychological Assessment resource. He has evaluated over 19,000 patients and has served as an Expert Witness in over one hundred civil and criminal trials involving impaired mental status, vocational disability, permanent limitations due to medical malpractice, product defects, and catastrophic injury. An Associate Member of the American Psychological Association, he served as a clinical assessment and treatment consultant to the Social Security Administration, OWCP (Office of Workers Compensations Programs), Department of Labor, and the Veterans Administration for the federal government, treatment team member in psychiatric and chemical dependence treatment centers, and litigation consultant to leading defense attorneys for virtually all of the major insurance companies in America. His accuracy in examination, and his clarity in court testimony and training events, has been widely praised by judges, plaintiff and defense attorneys, and rehabilitation specialists. He was honored in 1991 by the Crisis Intervention Center in Nashville, TN for his many years of service in training staff and volunteers. Mr. Scott was first admitted as an Expert in Clinical Psychology + Vocational Disability before Social Security Administrative Law Judges and the United States Railroad Retirement Board in August and September 1990.
